CODE OF CONDUCT

Code of Conduct

Zap’s partners and suppliers are expected to follow our Code of Conduct covering ethical standards, human rights and environmental responsibility. We work only with organisations committed to safe, fair and transparent practices.

Fact Sheet

  • Based on ILO Core Conventions & UN Global Compact
  • Zero tolerance for forced or child labour
  • Non-discrimination & fair wages required
  • Safe workplaces & legal compliance mandatory

Our principles

Ethical business is fundamental to sustainability. Suppliers must uphold human rights, prevent discrimination, ensure freedom of association, and maintain healthy, safe workplaces with proper training and PPE.

Environment & responsibility

Partners should minimise emissions and waste, follow national environmental laws, and adopt continuous-improvement plans. We encourage renewable energy, water stewardship and responsible chemical management.

Monitoring & compliance

We verify compliance via pre-qualification questionnaires, audits and ongoing dialogue. If gaps are found, a corrective action plan with deadlines is required. Persistent non-compliance leads to disengagement.

Escalation & whistleblowing

Anyone can report concerns via a confidential channel. All reports are investigated impartially, and retaliation is prohibited. We track cases and outcomes to strengthen prevention and remediation.
